The Fire-hydrant Story

When I was a small child.  I believed that if I just believed I could fly I could.  I had so much faith that, at age 8, I ran full speed with my shirt off and jumped.  Launching myself into the air.  I swear I flew for a second.  I came crashing down to earth and scraped my body off.

This is the kind of faith you need to be a Timmer.  Believe in yourself.

A Simple Walk

Today I just want you to turn off your mind, the tv, your arguments and take your family or friends for a quiet walk.  It does wonders for the mind.  How many days a year do you take a walk with your family or friends or by yourself in your neighborhood?

When you do it please smile at everyone with your eyes and greet them like they are the greatest person alive.  They are!

You can google everything under the sun.

Why is it that we still hold classes around the world.  Why do we still get interviewed and questioned.  It is human nature to learn from others.   So never stop that.

But just remember if you want to learn anything go to the library, google what you want, get a idiots guide.

Teach yourself!

How to Never Work Again

So what is it going to take to Never Work Again?
1) What is going to be your Rocket Fuel?

Motivation – Mindset I post everything I am reading here so you can see.  You can also try Bob Proctor and sign up for Six Minutes to Success or check out Michael Beckwith.  Anything really that motivates you.  You need to feed your mind.

Neat trick: Just goto youtube and type in any of the names mentioned above and you can watch them for free!
2) What is it that you would do all day if you didn’t have to earn money?

I love playing harmonica and many other instruments.  I have a natural talent in it.  So I teach classes on the weekends for $50 per hour.  Learn Marketing on lynda.com Memberships start at $25 a month.  It gets you full access to any tech training you may need.
3) How do I make money though?

I will go through a flow chart for me.

I advertise a new service.  Let’s say “harmonica class” for fun.  I advertise it before I even develop a class. Start now!  If I get a student then I book him for an hour a week from now.  I tell him it will be “half-off” so he pays $25.  You see because I love harmonica it is more like I am just teaching an old friend how to play.  I also love teaching.  I could also develop videos and host a bunch for free on youtube and then drive traffic to my site Timdotcom.com and charge a membership to the section of the site titled “tutorials.”

Obviously we all have obligations.  Everyone has to keep a roof over there heads and take care of others dependent on us.  It doesn’t mean in your spare time you can’t find a way to build a small home business.  Not for the money.  For the freedom it gives you.

Imagine getting up and doing what you want all day long.  If you monetize what you love then you can have this life.

That is why it is important to charge for whatever you are going to be doing.

I know how to turn what you love into income.  I have the checks in my bank to prove it.

I am not claiming this can happen over night.  It depends on what other time-obligations you have.

In the end I just want the absolute best for you.  That is why I share.  Sharing brought to you straight from Pop-Talk.

Pop-Talk

A mentor of mine once told me “God gave you two ears and one mouth, so listen twice as much.”

I learned this from TIM’s co-founder Pop.

Try today to listen more.  Avoid thinking about what is next to say.  Give whoever you are listening to at minimum 3 seconds before you jump in to allow them to breathe and say the next thing.  You not only will learn more.  You will connect with more people.
